Peptides FAQ - Product & Quality

RUO products are not for human or veterinary use, diagnostics, or drugs. They’re sold solely for laboratory, in-vitro, and R&D applications.

Lyophilized powders are produced under clean conditions but are not guaranteed sterile. If sterility is required for your application, use appropriate sterile technique and filtration in your lab.

Purity varies by product and batch and is typically specified on each product page. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) reflects HPLC purity for the lot you receive.

Yes. Each lot includes a CoA with identity and purity data (e.g. HPLC/LC-MS), listed on both our product pages and quality page. Request via support with your order # if not included.

Products are synthesized chemicals, not food items. We do not intentionally add common allergens; however, no allergen-free guarantee is provided.

They are chemically synthesized (no animal tissue), but we do not certify vegan status.

Most products ship lyophilized. If a solution is offered, it will be clearly labeled and include solvent details.

Yes. Safety Data Sheets are available on request for each product.

Unless explicitly stated, products are research-grade, not GMP pharmaceutical grade.

Typically HPLC for purity and LC-MS or MS for identity. Some lots may include additional tests (water content, TFA content, endotoxin) where noted.

Many lyophilized peptides include mannitol or similar bulking agents; see product page/CoA for details.

Freeze-dried powder form that improves stability and shelf life under proper storage.

See each product page for mass (e.g., 5 mg, 10 mg). Vial fill volume is not indicative of mass—refer to the labeled content.

Peptides FAQ - Handling & Storage of Peptides

Keep sealed and dry. Short term: 2–8 °C (refrigerated). Long term: −20 °C is recommended.

Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Aliquot after reconstitution if needed.

Stability depends on sequence, solvent, pH, and temperature. In general, keep cold, minimize time in solution, and consult literature for your specific peptide.

Use a suitable lab-grade solvent compatible with your application and peptide solubility (e.g., sterile water, dilute acid/base, or buffer). We do not provide usage or dosing guidance.

Hydrophobic sequences may require a small amount of organic solvent (e.g., acetonitrile) before diluting with aqueous buffer. Check literature and handle in a chemical hood.

Minimize moisture exposure. Keep vials sealed with desiccant in cold storage.
